During Shanghai Fashion Week FW17, The Chinese Pulse took a look of what was happening at Labelhood.
But first what is the buzz all around Labelhood this season?
During the past seasons, Labelhood developed recognition; created by the founder of Dong Liang,. Dong Liang is a famous concept store that showcase famous and upcoming talented Chinese designers such as Uma Wang and Angel Chen.
Labelhood is an alternative and independent showroom and fashion incubator for young Chinese brand and new creative brands. It runs during Shanghai Fashion Week.
This year, the level of Labelhood has grown in size and in quality.
Labelhood took over an old factory on the banks of the Suzhou creek and developed an interesting, innovative, alternative fashion hub where all the fashion professionals and creative community gathered to discover and be proud of their local talents.
Letting behind the formal way of showroom, here Labelhood presents the brands and designers with fashion shows, performances and artistic installations.
Magazines also are working together with the fashion incubator to supports the new designers. GQ have made a selection and showed their favorite pieces from the different designers.
Today, Labelhood is showing proudness and telling the world how China’s fashion is evolving and getting to an international level in terms of creativity and fashion personality.
