East Meets West: A Cultural Bridge in Perfumery

This year’s theme, “East Meets West,” transformed the exhibition into a cultural bridge, uniting global and Chinese fragrance brands. With over 200 brands from 19 countries and regions, the event was a true paradise for fragrance lovers—offering everything from timeless classics to avant-garde indie labels.

Beyond the showcase of scents, the exhibition also hosted 50+ industry forums, providing insights into innovation and future trends in the world of perfumery.

Among the many outstanding brands, we’ve handpicked three fascinating Chinese perfume brands that caught our attention.

Shanghai-based @Melt Season is a niche fragrance brand that blends modern sensuality with oriental aesthetics, crafting scents that reflect a gentle, fluid lifestyle—deeply attuned to nature’s rhythm and the quiet beauty of everyday moments.

At Notes Shanghai, @Melt Season created a snow-dusted space, where Eastern tradition met contemporary scent. Showcasing artisan perfumes, incense sticks, and car perfumes, the brand invited visitors to slow down and discover how fragrance can gently connect people, memories, and the rhythm of the seasons.
