29 Oct Seoul fashion week : When Humanoid Robots Take the Runway
On 4 September 2026, South Korean fashion label GREEDILOUS presented its Spring/Summer 2027 collection, The Little Prince: Asteroid G-78, at Lotte World Tower. Designer Park Youn-hee collaborated with adidas, robotics company Robotis and the Lotte Kids Orchestra, bringing a humanoid robot dressed in the brand’s clothing onto the runway alongside human models.
Making technology a character in the brand’s story
Founded in Seoul in 2009, GREEDILOUS is known for bold prints, vibrant colours and a futuristic aesthetic. Inspired by the planets and flowers of The Little Prince, the collection combined vivid prints, tulle, ruffles and structured tailoring to create a fantastical space garden.
The robot extended this narrative. Dressed in the collection, it became a character within the brand’s imagined world, bringing its futuristic aesthetic into the physical runway experience.
Decoding the concept: three key characteristics
1.Technology wears the brand’s identity — A printed top and layered skirt connected the robot directly with the collection’s visual language.

2.Human and robotic movement share the runway — Different bodies and ways of walking introduced a new visual rhythm to the presentation.

3.Cross-industry collaboration opens new possibilities — Working with Robotis allowed GREEDILOUS to explore robotics as a new medium for presenting fashion.

Key takeaway for brands
Technology becomes more compelling on the runway when it connects with a brand’s creative vision. By integrating a robot into its styling and storytelling, GREEDILOUS shows how technology can express a brand’s aesthetic world and enrich the audience experience.
