{"id":437,"date":"2017-06-22T17:22:01","date_gmt":"2017-06-22T15:22:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thechinesepulse.com\/fr\/?p=437"},"modified":"2017-11-03T10:26:25","modified_gmt":"2017-11-03T09:26:25","slug":"dongliang-the-voice-of-contemporary-chinese-fashion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thechinesepulse.com\/fr\/blog\/2017\/06\/22\/dongliang-the-voice-of-contemporary-chinese-fashion\/","title":{"rendered":"Dongliang, la voix de la mode chinoise contemporaine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eight years ago, Chinese designers or Shanghai Fashion Week was not catching the attention and was mainly \u201cignored\u201d by the fashion international and local crowd.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Today things have \u00a0changed: \u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessoffashion.com\/articles\/global-currents\/showrooms-blossom-china\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">showrooms are exploding<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0in China especially during the Shanghai Fashion Week.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Shanghai has become the new hot destination for fashion buyers, ranking just after Paris, New York, Milan and London.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What\u2019s more, in 2016, Business of Fashion counts 27 Chinese on the 500 people most affluent in the fashion industry : &lt;<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessoffashion.com\/community\/bof500\/2016\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The People Shaping the Global Fashion Industry<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&gt;. This data showcase that there is indeed a real mutation and a strong international elevation of the creative Chinese fashion scene.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-486 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/thechinesepulse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/Dongliang_BOF500_Contemporary-china_Mode-Chine_The-Chinese-Pulse-300x177.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"359\" height=\"212\" \/><\/p>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: center;\">Dongliang founders:\u00a0Tasha Liu, Charles Wang &amp; Lang Nan (Photo: Business of Fashion)<\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Three avant-garde Chinese\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessoffashion.com\/community\/people\/tasha-liu-charles-wang-lang-na?collections=7&amp;nationalities=44&amp;offset=22\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tasha Liu, Charles Wang and Lang Nan<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, have widely contributed to push China creative fashion industry,<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0deciding to move forward and to contribute in the development of local designers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In 2009, they created the first store of\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/jingdaily.com\/jing-daily-interview-leading-chinese-designer-boutique-dong-liang\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dongliang<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0in Beijing. Today,\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the first group of local designers curated by Dongliang like\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessoffashion.com\/community\/people\/uma-wang\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Uma Wang<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessoffashion.com\/community\/people\/shangguan-zhe?collections=7&amp;nationalities=44&amp;offset=19\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sankuanz<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0are already shining internationally. Dongliang continues to look for China\u2019s future talents with the aim of presenting them to the world.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-494 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/thechinesepulse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/dongliang_the-chinese-pulse_contemporary-china_mode-chine_tendance-300x225.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"336\" height=\"252\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-493 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/thechinesepulse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/dongliang_the-chinese-pulse_contemporary-china_mode-chine-300x275.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"275\" height=\"252\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The one and only objective of Dongliang is to\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">promote and sell China\u2019s up-and-coming designers. They have developed numerous events and activations to keep this purpose bloom : they had firstly launched the\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/en.dongliangchina.com\/moments\/view\/37\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dongliang One Day<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0during the Shanghai Fashion Week. The event was a one day program mixing exhibitions and shows showcasing exclusively the brands selected by Dongliang, this was the precursor of\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.vogue.it\/en\/vogue-talents\/news\/2016\/10\/21\/labelhood-shanghai-fashion-week\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Labelhood<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Labelhood is now a developed platform and a showroom supporting the Chinese emerging designers with the purpose of presenting them to the western market.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dongliang has brought several designers to participate to the London Fashion Week in 2013 and to a \u00a0pop-up store in collaboration with the concept store H.Lorenzo in L.A.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-495 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/thechinesepulse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/dongliang_the-chinese-pulse_contemporary-china_mode-chine_trends-300x188.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"361\" height=\"226\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dongliang always tries to support at its best the local designers. Last year, in order to meet more potential clients in the second-tier cities of China, Dongliang opened a shop-in-shop in the concept store HUG in\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessoffashion.com\/articles\/global-currents\/chengdu-chinas-next-fashion-powerhouse\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chengdu<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which is an emerging fashion market in China. This year, a new boutique of Dongliang had recently opened in Beijing &#8211; Paint by Dongliang, where we can find smaller and younger brands than in the original store of Dongliang.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Apart from fashion designers, Dongliang also collaborate a lot with Chinese emerging artists.
